THIS ITEM IS VERY RARELY NEEDED. The stainless steel strap hook adaptor is typical for Triton and older Ranger boats. This Strap hook adaptor on Boat2Trailer is used if you have a very small eye on the bow of your boat or you have a very large strap hook that takes up allot of room in the eye. This is to help fit your strap, your chain and our clamp all within the eye of the boat. Usually this is not an issue and this item is not needed.
Simply hook the strap hook into the adaptor then the adaptor hooks into the eye of the boat.
