Returns

You have 60 calendar days to return the item from the date you received it.
Accessories such as locks and ropes are not eligible for a refund. Only the clamp.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in good condition. No major damage.
Your item must be packaged well with NO LOOSE ITEMS. PLEASE WATCH VIDEO BELOW
We only accept returns on items purchased directly from Boat2Trailer. You will need to include either a receipt, proof of purchase or the original packing slip.

Damaged or Defective

If you receive damaged or defective merchandise, please notify us immediately of receiving the defective product and we will ship a new piece, part or latch if needed. The returned merchandise should not be shipped COD or via air.

Return Eligibility Check And Printable Form

Returns are recorded and manually inspected. Answer each question correctly on the form, or your return may be rejected and mailed back to you at your expense.

Has it been over 60 days since your last purchase?

✗ Sorry, you do not qualify for a return. Returns must be requested within 60 days of purchase.

Has the item ever been installed?

⚠ There is a mandatory $20 restocking fee on all returns.

Are there any marks or scratches on the polyurethane or steel from use?

⚠ Scratched polyurethane cannot be resold. We will have to discard the entire piece. Therefore, there is an additional $40 charge added to the restocking fee for poly scratches. If there are any scratches on the steel, it will need to be completely disassembled, tumbled, cleaned, and rebuilt. Steel scratches are an additional $40 added to the restocking fee as well. These are heavily discounted fees compared to our actual cost. What's a scratch? If you bought our clamp and received the exact piece, would you rate it New?.

Is the steel or polyurethane bent in any way?

✗ Sorry, you do not qualify for a return. Items that are bent cannot be accepted for return. If after inspection we find any items bent, your return will be rejected and shipped back to you.

Did you purchase any accessories such as a lock, strap hook, or rope?

ℹ Sorry, we do not offer refunds on accessories (locks, strap hooks, rope). Your main item return can still proceed below.

Please Note:

If you are requesting a refund it will be issued in the same method of payment that was used to purchase the merchandise.
The refund is contingent on inspection. If the item is returned, restocking fees will be deducted from the refund or it will be returned back to you.
We ONLY process refunds on orders placed directly through Boat2Trailer.

Instructions on an EXCHANGE

We currently do not accept exchanges, but you can return the incorrect model for a refund. Then simply place an order through our website for the correct model.
