Long Handle
The Long Handle Highlights
- Very commonly used on roller trailers.
- Automatically resets after loading and unloading.
- Made of Aluminum to help prevent corrosion and rust.
- Easy to reach from inside the boat for launching.
- Easy to add a rope to launch from inside the boat.
- MUST float the boat then pull handle to release the boat. (short handle has an option to manually release at anytime)
- LONG HANDLE MODEL CAN NOT BE CONVERTED TO SHORT HANDLE MODEL
Short Handle
The Automatic Handle Highlights
- Very commonly used on bunk trailers.
- Automatically resets after loading and unloading.
- Made of Stainless Steel to help prevent corrosion and rust.
- Low profile for less bulk.
- Very little force to open.
- MUST float the boat then pull handle to release the boat. (option 1 short handle can manually release at anytime)
- SHORT HANDLE MODEL CAN NOT BE CONVERTED TO LONG HANDLE MODEL
The Manual Handle Highlights
- Very commonly used on bunk trailers.
- Manually reset after loading and unloading.
- Made of Stainless Steel to help prevent corrosion and rust.
- Low profile for less bulk.
- Very little force to open.
- Can place handle in the up or “release position” to keep the clamp open for launching. You do not have to float the boat to release. If you prefer to unhook your strap and chain and release the clamp at the same time, you can with this option. You must manually place the handle in the down or “locking” position before loading the boat.
