The Boat2Trailer Sport Long Handle is designed to be compatible with boats that have a standard U Bolt mounted directly to the boat and no thick brackets above it. It should work on all compatible FIBERGLASS BOATS and a LARGE number of aluminum boats. Most customers purchase this long handle model for roller trailers and the short handle for bunk trailers. The polyurethane on the clamp is engineered to fit snug around the eye of the boat. The tight fit between your bow eye and your boat will allow the least amount of play when loading and traveling. This is critical when it comes to protecting a fiberglass boat. Having a loose fit or gap, will create pressure points or damaging wear points on the fiberglass. Our design helps to combat this issue and protect your boat.
