Boat2Trailer LGEN2 short handle mounts on a 3″ – 4.5″ wide roller bracket. It works with a u bolt that has a thick mounting plate. Description

The Boat2Trailer LGEN2 short handle is designed to mount on a 3′ – 4.5″ wide roller bracket and specifically to work with an aluminum boat that has a thick mounting plate directly above the eye. The polyurethane has a wide gap or channel for the thick plate to pass through. The Model L Gen 2 is for Aluminum LUND, ALUMACRAFT and any other aluminum boat that has this thick mounting plate. The polyurethane is engineered to fit snug around the mounting plate above the eye of the boat. This creates a tight fit between your eye and your boat. When you create a tight fit this allows the least amount of play when loading and traveling. This is extremely important when it comes to protecting the boat. You do NOT want a loose fit or it will create pressure points, bouncing or damaging wear points on the boat. Our design helps to combat this issue and protect your boat.

    Super fast, easy install, Maybe 10 minutes tops!
    Works exactly as advertised. makes loading SO much faster.
    Must have for a boat owner in my opinion.
    If you boat by your self frequently I would suggest the long handle automatic, in my case I am 90% on the boat with someone driving my truck, so I didn’t need the long handle.

    The first time, loading and unloading went as smoothly as in the videos. Installation was easy; no adjustments were needed after following the installation instructions. You did not need to offload the boat from the trailer to install it.

    I have been using this Model L for the past two weeks now, and can say that it has even helped to center the boat on my trailer (which has been a disaster since day one: Shorelander bunk trailer under my 2021 Lund Crossover XS 1875). The launch time has been decreased noticably (being a fishing guide, that is rather important), and has decreased the amount of time loading (again, very important). My friend, who had the competitors model actually purchased a Boat 2 Trailer model for his boat based on my experience. He is ecstatic with the Boat 2 Trailer model and was extremely happy to get rid of the other competitor model that horribly scratched his boat! My only disappointment is that the lock system is STILL not available. I devised my own lock system since my trailer sits alone all day (6 days a week) while I’m on the water and wanted to remove the temptation from anyone seeing it alone at the landing. For such a great device, I’m very bummed that the lock system is still not available with the estimated availability time continually being moved into the future further. This item is truly one that needs an anti-theft system. This should be priority one for the company, in my opinion. Otherwise, if you are on the fence about this or the competitor model, buy the Boat 2 Trailer model for your boat with complete confidence!

    Had to do a little adjustment on trailer, no big deal. New boat and trailer but was easy to use. Very satisfied. Park close enough to the dock you can step out of boat right to dock. I’m 67 and loving it. Manual handle works best for me.

    Easy install, only took a few minutes and 2 wrenches. Still might need to adjust the winch stand 1/2 an inch.
