The updated version of the Boat2Trailer clamp is a great improvement over the original, but the original worked flawlessly. The customer service was outstanding with helping to get it setup properly and answering all my questions quickly.

Just put mine on.....I love it. Little bit of a learning curve as to how far to back the trailer in. I watched the video with the smiley guy so many times before I placed the order. It does make getting the boat out a snap.

My boat is a 23ft crownnline.

Can be difficult to judge proper trailer depth, especially when using many different ramps. It gets easier with time, but positioning is critical to engage it without excess force. My Pathfinder has an overhanging rub rail at the bow which unfortunately trapped the guide wheel when launching / disengaging. Had to fill in the void with a LOT of epoxy putty. So far, so good for about a year.

I had been thinking about getting one of these for several years. I wish I had purchased it several years ago. I purchased mine for the ease of launching and putting the boat back on the trailer when I am fishing by myself. But, it still makes it a lot Easier, even if you are fishing with a partner.
