The RNC Model L boat latch is constructed of STAINLESS STEEL to prevent corrosion and help prevent rusting of the boat latch. Stainless Steel holds up stronger than any powder coated steel or zinc plated steel PERIOD. Highlights to note.

The Ramp N Clamp cover is made up of an upgraded Stoltz Polyurethane to prevent damage to your boat. Stoltz has been known around the world for its superior super roller material and we have upgraded it to an even stronger more resistant protector. 10 times more durable than plastic. Here are key notes to consider about Stoltz Poly.

The RNC Model L is available in a short handle version or a long handle version. Here are a few highlights to note about both before making a decision.
The Long Handle Highlights
- Very commonly used on roller trailers.
- Automatically resets after loading and unloading.
- Made of Aluminum to help prevent corrosion and rust.
- Easy to reach from inside the boat for launching.
- Easy to add a rope to launch from inside the boat.
- MUST float the boat then pull handle to release the boat. (short handle has an option to manually release at anytime)
- LONG HANDLE MODEL CAN NOT BE CONVERTED TO SHORT HANDLE MODEL
The Short Handle – Automatic Handle Highlights (Automatically resets clamp)
- Very commonly used on bunk trailers.
- Automatically resets after loading and unloading.
- Made of Stainless Steel to help prevent corrosion and rust.
- Low profile for less bulk.
- Very little force to open.
- MUST float the boat then pull handle to release the boat. (option 1 short handle can manually release at anytime)
- BOTH THE MANUAL AND AUTOMATIC HANDLE COME WITH PURCHASE OF SHORT HANDLE MODEL
- SHORT HANDLE MODEL CAN NOT BE CONVERTED TO LONG HANDLE MODEL
The Short Handle – Manual Handle Highlights (Open clamp at anytime)
- Very commonly used on bunk trailers.
- Manually reset after loading and unloading.
- Made of Stainless Steel to help prevent corrosion and rust.
- Low profile for less bulk.
- Very little force to open.
- Can place handle in the up or “release position” to keep the clamp open for launching. You do not have to float the boat to release. If you prefer to unhook your strap and chain and release the clamp at the same time, you can with this option. You must manually place the handle in the down or “locking” position before loading the boat.

Super fast, easy install, Maybe 10 minutes tops!
Works exactly as advertised. makes loading SO much faster.
Must have for a boat owner in my opinion.
If you boat by your self frequently I would suggest the long handle automatic, in my case I am 90% on the boat with someone driving my truck, so I didn’t need the long handle.

Easy Installation and even more easy to load the 20 foot Cuddy Cabin boat. Had a friend drive the trailer into the water and I just drove the boat up and on and it latched in and everyone who was watching were in amazement. So effortless. Thank you for a great product.
